GWF Community Guidelines and Policies
The Gwinnett Furs Mission:
Gwinnett Furs is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively to foster community building, facilitate the planning and execution of events, and generate general public goodwill towards the furry community.
Leadership and moderators are run entirely by unpaid volunteers, we do it for the love of our furry community. Always respect community moderators, leadership, and engage in thoughtful discussion on any clarifying points when policy is applied.
The community guidelines and policies described below support our mission.
Policies are subject to revision and clarification as needed.
Violating community guidelines or policies may lead to removal from Gwinnett Furs spaces.
Community Guidelines
Community guidelines drive policies and all policies tie back to a specific community guideline.

Ethical
Members are not to harm the overall furry community through their actions.
Empathy
Members of our community are to be respectful to people of differing lifestyles and identities.

Ethical Policies
No AI Content
AI Content competes for creative works traditionally created by artists, writers and other people inspired works of art. Do not post AI content within GWF spaces which is generated fully or partially by artificial intelligence.
Community Space vs Private
Gwinnett Furs is a community space relating to our social media as well as our event spaces unless explicitly stated. When communicating in a shared community space, be mindful to not discuss inappropriate topics which are reserved for an 18+ audience. Topics involving 18+ themes can be taken to direct messages, private group chats, or private spaces.
Empathy Policies
Respect Identity
Members are to make a best effort to use proper names, identities and pronouns when they're made aware of these preferences. Purposefully dismissing a person's identity is contrary to GWF's community mission.
Members who do have explicit identities are to use good faith and patience when educating members on their identity and preferences.
Respect Differing Lifestyles and Interests
Member's varying lifestyles and interests are welcomed as long as the lifestyle or interest does not involve intimate activities with people under the age of eighteen or an individual unable to provide consent or diminish another's identity or character.
